Our Exchange Programs:
Special attention should be paid to exchange programs, which will take youth representing various religious groups abroad – to the US or Europe, and bringing international youth to Georgia. Exchange programs will give young people the opportunity of living next to each other and be exposed to other cultures. This experience of multicultural communication will give them an understanding of real tolerance, open-mindedness and security; as well as the desire and will to put this unique experience in lifelong friendship with international peers.
This Exchange Program plays a crucial role in opening up closed religious communities in Georgia, and in
developing understanding of democracy among the youth representing various ethnicity in Georgia and beyond.
Peace Education:
It is vital for our future that the religious and ethnic backgrounds of youth in Georgia are addressed by programs based on peace and entrepreneurship education. The Peace Education program connects youth from different ethnic and religious cultures both at home and abroad to provide inter-faith education in civic educational institutions and private settings, to share universal understanding and human values. Through the development of vocational education skills, GGC will provide program opportunities to share, experience, and immerse in many cultures with a goal of social tolerance. GGC will cultivate interpersonal relationships to build bridges across cultures, and religious and ethnic boundaries, to support human and economic development among target groups as outlined in partnership with governments. By living next to each other, the experience of multicultural communication will give our youth an understanding of tolerance, open-mindedness, and security with the goal of putting this unique experience in place for life-long friendships
